Democrats will meet in a city of great economic inequality

When the Democrats come to the City of Brotherly Love to nominate Hillary Clinton for president and the talk turns to income inequality and the 1 percent, Exhibit A will be right outside their windows: Philadelphia itself.

The nation’s fifth-largest city is rebounding, filling some Philadelphians with an unfamiliar sense of civic pride. And yet it struggles with the gap between rich and poor that Sen. Bernie Sanders decried during his campaign against Clinton, with 26 percent of residents living in poverty, the highest rate among the 10 biggest cities in the U.S.

The July 25-28 convention creates an opportunity to acknowledge the city’s successes in urban revitalization, but also “to look closely at the real Philadelphia, which is also the real America,” said Randall Miller, a history professor at Saint Joseph’s University. …

1952?? Well, that’s the problem — the democrats just haven’t had enough time to recover from the Republican policies. /s

The Democrats meet in a once great America city that has been ruined and run into the ground by the policies and leadership of corrupt and incompetent Democrat politicians

The only public employees at the DNC convention which do not have a take home pay in excess of 2.5 times the median HOUSEHOLD income are the junior officers who are defending them.

Ahh, that warm and fuzzy feeling of theft of public funds.

Ironic that Chaka Fattah, who was going to be one of the hosts for the convention, is headed to jail with his son. Until they were caught, they both lived a life style fit for kings.

And no sign of “Black Lives Matter”. Unless it’s a criminal stopped by death at the hands of a white police officer. Everyone else does not matter to them.

Funny thing is . . . the Dems present themselves as the big champions of “light rail”, but it was under the Democratic leadership that started in 1952 that the Philadelphia Transportation Company and Philadelphia Suburban Transit started replacing their trolleys with buses. More than merely ironic that they then endeavor to “bring back” trolleys at $30 million per mile or higher.

The only thing I can think of is communist influence. Putting “abolition of the family” into practice (to the point where only 25 percent embrace the traditional family; a social disaster), and also the Leninist-influenced anti-philosophy of rejecting love in favor of hate; this got into their churches quite rapidly too. And of course there’s Mohammedan-based hatred, whether from the NOI or “mainstream” Islam; both have a socialistic bent to boot.

Being a capitalist or entrepreneur or A-student is “acting white”. Somehow, that’s considered a bad thing.

But every communist (or otherwise disguised) manifesto starts with bashing the “haves”, then promises an alternative utopia (with fuzzy details). It’s been the modus operandi from Lenin to Castro to Pol Pot to Bill Ayres.

Lenin called hatred “the basis of communism”, but promised that establishing communism would permit people to live “happy lives”. A family-less society where everyone hated one another does not seem to be the formula for establishing universal happiness, but Armageddon rather.

It’s the Occam’s Razor for all the PC (cultural Marxism).. They aim to change basic human behavior to get people to buy into their nonsense. They enforce it via torts by lawyers on the government payroll, directly or indirectly.

The phrase “cultural Marxism” is a tautology, really. (The Dems like to say it’s a “code phrase for antisemitism”, too, in their usual exercises of creating paranoia-inducing Newspeak.)

The book The Naked Communist in its first chapter noted that Marx indeed sought to change the thinking of all mankind:
… (Marx) visualized a regimented breed of Pavlovian men whose minds could be triggered into immediate action by signals from their masters. He wanted a race of men who would no longer depend upon free will, ethics, morals or conscience for guidance. Perhaps, without quite realizing it, Marx was setting out to create a race of human beings conditioned to think like criminals. …
Like I noted before, once one makes all human beings like that, it’s a broad road to Armageddon. The antediluvian condition of mankind clearly was of this type.
