Democrats Accuse Russia Of Hacking DNC Server To Help Donald Trump [IMPORTANT INFO]
ZeroHedge ^ | July 24, 2016 | Tyler Durden

In the aftermath of the fallout from the DNC server hack, the Democrats have been scrambling how to redirect public anger (especially among Bernie Sanders supporters) from the revelations that not only did the Democratic party try everything in its power to sabotage Bernie Sanders presidential bid, but also colluded with various "impartial" media outlets as well as breach fundraising rules in the process.

And, as of this morning, it appears that the solution they have decided upon is not to explain or even justify the scandalous actions, but to simply blame Russia for the hack.

Except... there is a problem with this "disturbing", if very amusing, tangent.

As The Hill reported, it wasn't some mysterious, Kremlin-based hacker/operator that provided the emails to Wikileaks. It was the Romanian hacker Guccifer 2.0 (not to be confused with the original Romanian hacker Guccifer, aka Marcel Lazar, who is currently in US custody and whose email revelations over a year ago unleashed the scandal involving Hillary's email server in the first place), well-known for previously leaked hundreds of internal DNC memos on his own website.

It is the same Guccifer 2.0 who, following allegations that he was working for Russia, conducted the following interview with Motherboard where he said the following:

Notice the Dems have tacitly acknowledged that the released emails are authentic. This is a big deal if Assange releases the second installment as promised. Depending on what he has, this could be devastating for Hillary. It will be very difficult to deny their authenticity.

CNN has Claire McCaskill, she is all in on “released by the Russians to benefit Trump.” The consipracy against Hillary is expanding, vast right wing + Russia.

An edited picture of Onslow and "our" Daisy from Keeping Up Appearances. I can almost hear Bill saying "Oh, nice!" when told about the Wikileaks.

Manafort is already calling for Hillary to resign from the race following the lead of DWS. The hacking of the DNC server hurt the Dem party. The presumed hacking of Hillary’s server damaged national security.

The Dems must be desperate to cite a Trump-Putin connection. It makes the Hillary email scandal look that much worse. It opens Hillary up to blackmail by the Russians or anyone else.

Carl Bernstein on CNN says that Hillary might benefit from showing something like contrition. LOL. The talking points have gone out, the choir is singing in harmony, and Bernstein didn't get the memo.

-- The Dems must be desperate to cite a Trump-Putin connection. --

It's pure speculation. They cite some unnamed experts who see metadata in the source documents that indicate a computer in Russia is involved in storing, serving or transmitting the contents.

“...[Obama] could be recruited on an emergency basis to continue.”

Recruited by whom?

Are you saying that Hillary Clinton is some kind of supernatural person who can not be replaced or stopped without disordering the planet?

Or is Obama a supernatural person who can not be stopped or replaced?

The Democrats will accuse anybody of anything. They is all they have left. They have no morals, even bad ones. They have no principles. They have no decency. They have no scruples. They are the spawns of Satan. He is their father and god.

And catch the no socks faux-hipster look. He doesn’t realize he looks more like Jerry Lewis than anyone on Mad Men.

You can take a boy out of the Deliverance backwoods and he’s still a hillbilly.

Russians or not, martians or not, it doesn’t matter who brings the truth to the light of day.

This is like a lawyer for a bank robber prosecuting and attacking a bank for turning over the surveillance video of a robbery to the police.

The Russians were able to hack Hillary to help Russia whatever that might be

Welcome to history’s most obviously blackmaillable POTUS candidate
We’re lucky Putin’s agenda was not to use that hacked trove to let Hillary get elected and then control her

Gee Hillary all those national security rules and protections made by and for the little people - that you ignored for personal convenience and reckless arrogance - really did have a purpose

Here’s an interesting post in the comment section by “looney” at the site of the original article:

Hillary’s e-mail server and the FBI/DOJ cover-up have caused a lot of damage, but there’s another “damage” nobody has even mentioned, yet…

In the Tradecraft, countries used to spend years trying to create fool-proof “legends” for their spies.

Remember the Russian chick, Anna Chapman, who was arrested in New York a few years back and sent back to Russia?

She was barely 19 when she left Russia for London. Soon, she got married, changed her last name, became the UK citizen, worked for Barclay’s, and in 2009 moved to New York.

Less than a year later, before even starting the actual spying, she was betrayed by a Russian “Aldrich Ames”.

Nowadays, everything is way simpler – no one cares about the “legend” anymore and here’s an example…

A Muslim family with a 2-year-old girl moves from the US to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The father is a teacher/mullah at the local madrassa – the only form of the Wahhabi Sunni radical education allowed in Saudi Arabia.

By the way, all decapitations by ISIS and Saudi Arabia, under the Wahhabi Sharia Law, are just “mandatory sentencing”, but I digress…

The Girl grows up, goes back to the States, drops her burka, and goes to college (George Washington University in DC, one of the most expensive colleges in the US). She doesn’t qualify for Student Aid and her father-mullah doesn’t make enough money in SA to pay for it, but “someone” keeps paying all those bills, in cash!

Soon, with the helping hand of Bandar “28-pages” Bush, she goes interning at the White House and, soon after, is assigned to Hillary as an aide. That girl’s name, yeah – you’ve guessed it, is Huma Bin Laden… I mean… Abedin.

Huma’s family still lives in Jeddah, SA – the same city the San Bernardino’s burka-wearing-female-shooter came from.

Huma is a Saudi spy with full access to all of our Top Secrets, but no one seems to care!

We, as a country, have been whipped by the Saudis for a very long time. Nobody in the government, left or right, dares to say anything about Saudi Arabia. It took more than 3 presidential terms to just publish the freaking 28 pages, for goat’s sake!

Even if there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute Huma for spying, her being THAT close to the Clinton’s and still having her family living in Saudi Arabia makes her utterly COMPROMISED! I think? ;-)

That is an interesting post.

Interesting as well that almost to a man all the comments were anti-Hillary. Zerohedge is a very disparate forum (to say the least). Uncommon to see a thread were all commenters are on the same side.

Besides, wouldn’t Putin prefer a weak candidate such as Hillary over Trump?

Frankly, I sincerely hope Assange WAITS until after Clinton's Coronation/Acceptance speech before lowering the boom.

Let them deal with the taint and stink of their "Nixonian" official nominee.

They can Bob Torrecelli/Frank Lauternberg her out, but after the nominee is officially granted, it will that much more of a mess to do so.

From the thread:

I used 0-day exploit of NGP VAN soft then I installed shell-code into the DNC server. it allowed me to intrude into DNC network. They have Windows-based domain architecture. then I installed my Trojans on several PCs. I had to go from one PC to another every week so CrowdStrike couldn't catch me for a long time. I know that they have cool intrusion detection system. But my heuristic algorithms are better.

Looked up the computer nerd goobledygook. Turns out NGP VAN is a program used by among others the DNC to connect with voters. It has had some known safety issues (from Wiki):

Votebuilder is one of the software systems created by NGP VAN. It is used by the Democratic Party to track interaction with potential voters. Votebuilder is used as part of a "get out the vote" campaign to encourage likely supporters to vote in Elections in the United States. The introduction of such software has been called a revolution in campaigning[9] as it allows for very detailed information to be stored, including "every door knock and phone call".[10] The software was created in 2006 to bridge a perceived gap in microtargeting abilities between the Republican and Democratic parties.[11] Along with the central voter database storing the voter information, there is also an app for iPhones and iPads that is intended to be used by canvassers. [12]

2016 Presidential Election

On the 18 of December 2015, the firewall between the voter data collected by various Democratic presidential candidates using NGP VAN's software was reportedly compromised by a patch issued by the company, allowing candidates access to other campaigns' confidential information. The Sanders campaign admitted that their national data director, Josh Uretsky, had been accessing voter information collected by the Clinton campaign, saying he did so merely to probe the extent of the issue before reporting it.[13][14] The DNC then cut off the Sanders campaign's access to the master voter file temporarily until the campaign could bring themselves back into compliance with DNC rules.[15] As this file is necessary for effective voter outreach, Sanders supporters accused the DNC of giving the Clinton campaign an unfair advantage at a critical point in the election. The Sanders campaign sued the DNC in District Court due to a violation of contract. Concurrently they fired the person who accessed the data. The Sanders campaign was given access to their campaign database effective December 19.[16][17]
