“Nobody tried to help the priest?”
According to the story I read this morning, there was only one parishioner in the church at the time, and he was attacked also. The only other people on the site were four or five nuns. Last I read, the other man is in a hospital with knife wounds.
It’ll be a while before the whole story gets out.
Man,I saw this earlier and checked the NYT just to see how or if they even reported it.
It was buried so far down I almost gave up. Past all the articles on Michelle O, including one on her dress. I kid you not.
And I believe the title was something like “Attack kills Priest in France, ISIS blamed”
Wow, an attack killed the Priest, not a Muslum scumbag but an attack. And ISIS was blamed, as if unfairly.

This church in Rouen was named on an authenticated ‘hit list’ of IS targets over a year ago. This massacre (pun intended) was preventable, if only someone in the parish church would have prepared for what they knew was coming.
France brought this one on themselves. One of the killers was not only on a police terror watchlist, he reportedly was considered dangerous and wearing an electronic tracking device! (This reported by SkyNews and quoted in Breitbart.)
Instead of an ankle bracelet for known dangerous islamists, why not deport them instantly? If their home countries don’t want them back, find a desert island, anything.
French authorities at high levels knew of this threat. Also the Rouen church was confirmed over a year ago to be an IS target, so intent and assailants both known to govt!. They did not prevent it and in this case would have been quite easy if they had the will.
