We are told to respond with love and forgiveness as individuals to acts that are committed directly against us personally, but the government is ordained by God to wield the sword to ensure justice and to maintain an orderly society. Many Christians, especially today with the liberalism infecting so many churches, think that the only biblical response to evil is pacifism. That is completely wrong.
If the pacifist Christians were correct, then we would disband our military and police and open the prisons and free all the prisoners. That, in itself, would be evil because we would be responsible for unleashing evil upon innocent victims. We are to protect the innocent.
No, the proper response to this vile Islamic murder spree is to utterly crush them. This cancer will only spread at an ever accelerating rate unless we destroy their will to fight. That's going to take much more than pinprick attacks. Think something closer to WWII than the current anemic drone strikes. Of course, we know there is only one candidate for President who is willing to do what is necessary.
