Methinks the rank-and-file will strongly go for Trump.
It appears that some insiders in D.C. are making money on moving our production out of the country.
You left out the best song of all, Telegraph Road by Dire Straits.
One could hope. I was pretty certain the the rank and file nimrods had learned a lesson after the first four years. Sadly, mittens sat it out the last month or so(not that I cared for him but held my nose) and that fateful Wendesday nearly 4 years ago, Old Glory came down off the pole and rarely sees the light of day anymore. Veterans Day, 4th of July, Memorial day......

The “Leaders” are only interested in compulsory union dues and the resulting $750,000 salaries for Stewards. It’s all a con game.
They dont even sway election in Michigan anymore.
That’s how hollowed-out they have become. When they priced workers out of their jobs, they left industry to die or leave he nation.
Now a whole generation of young people aren’t even in unions. Whites have lost the best type of work to make a decent living when you dont go to college, and cities have lost valuable tax revenue.
But vote for Hillary, and get what?
Mitt couldn’t inspire anybody, other than for the mere fact that he wasn’t Obama.
But vote for Hillary, and get what?

The leadership of labor unions is no different from the leadership of political parties - they make the right noises at election time, but in reality they DON’T represent their constituents, they ONLY represent themselves.
I would hope that the general membership of most unions would come to grips with that, and vote for someone who promises to change things on a national level. Voting Hillary is voting for more of the same, which is to say even more factories being shut down, and more of you guys and gals out of work.

that’s a hoot, what they really mean, disastrous for fat cat union leaders back pockets.
I think we will eventually see most of the labor movement align with whatever the Republican Party becomes.
It is becoming increasingly obvious to the rank and file that the Democrat Party has abandoned them for other, more preferred, interest groups.
The labor bosses continue to be big sell-outs, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Trump win a majority of the votes of the rank and file.
