MALIBU, Calif. (AP) — Dr. Dre has been cited after a man says the rapper pointed a handgun at him.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says the man told them he was parked outside a Malibu, California, home when Dre ordered him to leave and showed a gun.

Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, told sheriff's deputies he didn't have a gun and that the man was blocking his driveway. He says the man moved his car but parked nearby. He says the man drove off after Dre recorded video of him.

Gun charges are like domestic violence charges. It only takes the accusation to get the law involved and chargee bent-over-and-reamed through the process.

It would be a “brandishing” charge and they’d need witnesses so it probably gets dropped.

No gun was found because, as a felon, he is prohibited from possessing one.

Had my firearms not fallen overboard in a tragic boating accident last week, someone could easily call the police and report:
"...This person who goes by the handle "Blue Jays" on a conservative forum was waving a gun at the end of their family driveway today.
It was either a black semi-automatic pistol or a silver revolver.
In all my fear, I had a difficult time focusing. That firearm will definitely be found in the Blue Jays household if you search long enough..."
That sure would be an easy false prank for someone to pull if they meant to cause my life hassle...well, prior to the unfortunate boating accident...I mean.
Someone could easily jam-up a famous person with relative ease.
