With the context of how it played out Sanders saying "nobody cares about those damn emails" sounds exactly like the traitor he turned out to be. Sanders only core principle seems to be free stuff.
That Sanders, with a pathological hatred of earned wealth, would sell out his supporters for his own airplane is one of the weirdest events in this very weird campaign. What Bernie did is one of the biggest betrayals of ones supporters in history. The smartest thing they could do now is vote for Trump then move after the election to one of the third parties and give Trump a run for it in four years.
