I didn’t know he was still alive.

The way he sang it, I’m not certain that he is.

Did you notice that their chair person is the incompetent mayor who blew up Baltimore?

He looks like the elder Frank Sinatra after a three day bender.

“SPIRITED”?????? give me a freakin’ break!

Liberals just lie and lie and lie.

I caught this performance; whatever one says about it, this was no “spirited” performance. It was bland, dry, flat and off-key, weak.

Warning: Comments comparing the 8-foot high walkway over the double wall to a bridge over trouble waters are out of bounds ... cause they are hurtful and will offend the easily offended.

Spirited wasn't quite how Michael Savage described it this afternoon!

Look at the lyrics.
It is a song glorifying illegal drugs.

Barely apparently. He is no longer singing and DNC primaries don’t count.

Paul, it’s time to go back to the home now. It’s creamed carrot night!

Always hated that song.
It was way overproduced. Too many strings and other musical tricks.

Rats. I’ll never be able to enjoy that music again.

Every time I hear him I will taste vomit.

Agree 110%

What a drag. Simon was off key. Weak pipes. Valium-inspired. An embarrassment. Just like the entire Day One of Demonic National Convention.

If you’re going to claim that you can “Bring America Together,” start small. Bring Simon and Garfunkel back together. Heck, where’s Charles Grodin? Garfunkel & Oates?

Oh, and that radical priest from “Me and Julio” did finally get busted. But while he was useful for bashing sexual morals, he was quite popular in pop culture and the Boston Globe.

Great songwriter, maybe the greatest as far as pop music. Way more quality material than Lennon & McCartney. Ray Davies would be in the running but not many others can come close to Paul Simon as far as longevity and quality of work.
