this is just delicious. Trump did not urge the Russians to hack the emails.

He was merely following up on the repeated after repeated after repeated groundless assertion that the Russians had hacked the DNC emails. That being true, it is logical to conclude the Russians had already hacked Hillary’s server and did in fact hold the missing 30,000 e mails. From the DNC talking points the only reasonable conclusion is that the Russians have the emails from hacks years ago.

It is also a fine point but Trump is not encouraging the release of State Department secrets. The emails in question are not those of a government official, the Secretary of State, but to the contrary, a private citizen Hillary Clinton.

This is one of the best gambits in the history of American politics

In the aftermath of Hellary clinching the nomination, all the press are talking about are her emails again.

Every day the news leads with a story about her emails, Trump win an extra votes.

The way he has played the media here is perhaps the most masterful management of them in the history of the republic
