After taunting Hillary Clinton by asking Russian hackers to release 30,000 e-mails she deleted, Donald Trump finally forced Clinton’s campaign to admit that her unsanctioned e-mail server scheme was a “national security issue.”

Some of the namby-pamby conservative websites were wringing their hands that Trump made a huge error in calling on the Russians to find Hillary’s emails. But Trump knew exactly what he was doing and this is the result — getting dopey Hillary, with her political tin ear, to hyperventilate about her emails being a national security issue. Its great. This is Trump on his game. And he drowned any positive PR from yesterday’s Dem convention. Let’s hope it keeps up.
