What’s in the emails? Why all this feigned concern over the messenger while ignoring the message? It couldn’t be because the emails are humiliating to the Democrats, could it?

I stopped to watch RT because it showed the outside demonstrations, something I must have missed on other networks. One demonstrator commented that something like what difference does it make who leaked, just look at the content of the emails.
Apparently, Russians cannot hack FBI relevant national security Clinton emails, but the DNC says they can hack Convention Relevant Clinton emails.
One week the Ruskies are incompetent and the next week they’re brilliant.
If the government believes it’s the Russians then that means they are leaving evidence behind after their hacking and as a result they aren’t very good. It’s the ones who can get in and get out again without leaving a trace that are the problem.
I think everyone on both sides realizes this is a red herring thrown out there to distract from the content of the emails.
I mean, not that Russia doesn’t have the emails but the DNC’s point is that Donald and Vald are working together on this.

But the point of Mookie’s “Russia hacked the DNC” gambit was to distract from the content of the emails and give the media something else to talk about. And it worked, sort of.
The problem with that from the dems’ and the kneepad media’s perspective is that it opened up many more lines of attack right back at them which Trump exploited masterfully this morning:
-Didn’t Obama say Russia was our friend now? Reset button? 1980s called, said cold war over hahaha? So Romney was right?
-Hillary Rotten said her server was secure and not hacked. After all it was guarded by the secret service and the cloth! Now you’re saying it was hacked.
-Crooked Hillary said the 30,000 emails she deleted were personal, daughter’s wedding, yoga-related. So what does it matter if they are leaked now? She should welcome their release so that she can put this matter behind her.
-Cyber security is of the upmost importance! But you haven’t seem very concerned about the past 7 years. Crooked Hillary Rotten kept top secret information on an un-secure server - and sent it around to other people - but you said that wasn’t worth prosecuting!
Trump took their little “russia hack” grenade, turned it into an atomic bomb, and lobbed it right back at them! Right in the middle of their convention! Wow!
And still, not one iota or shred of evidence to link the Russians.
