“John McCain was a pilot in Viet Nam”

Yes, that’s true, but he was a lousy pilot. He had managed to “loose” three aircraft before being shot down. He was only still in the Navy at all because of the influence of his father and grandfather who were both admirals.

He had a part in the fire on the Forestall that almost got George Bush killed.

And a lousy candidate for President.

McCain was a very reckless pilot and lost two planes before being shot down in Vietnam, One in a training accident and another one under other circumstances.

Yes his Grandfather was a 4 star Admiral and his Father was the same as well as being CINPAC. Those are the reasons he got a pass in staying a aviation officer.

McCain never got higher than Captain when he came back, he was never Flag Material and when he finally got out the Navy was happy.

Jimmah Carter was in the Navy, too. Can’t stand either one of them.
