Hillary won’t get a bounce because there is nothing for her to get... her support among dems is right at traditional levels, and she’s running about 20 points behind Trump among independents. Convention isn’t going to change independents minds about her....
Trump has about 12 points among republicans to gain to get to typical republican support levels, may not get all of it, because too many establishment folks have too much to lose if he wins, but he will close that gap and be closer to traditional levels of support by election day.
Cruz speech probably helped Trump more than anything else during RNC convention, easily gained 2-3% among republicans just by letting Cruz hang himself.
The drama’s gone out of that convention like stinking air from a punctured balloon, and what’s left is monumentally boring. There are, to be sure, people with no lives who actually do care what some third-rate Hollywood celeb wore to the occasion but the rest of us really don’t. I do not think there are very many living human beings who would claim the distinction of voluntarily attending a Joe Biden speech, and vanishingly few to do so twice. Nor is the venue of size sufficient to hold egos the size of Obie From Nairobi and the Ice Queen simultaneously. Normal ones get crowded out to the street, and are taking their votes with them.
Look, folks, it’s simple....the first day was enriched by the Wasserman Schultz blunder....the second day was the anticipation of the Bernie/Hillary battle. The third day was pure boredom from the “first line, top shelf, low life, leaders, of the Democrat Party”, thus the TV viewership numbers tanked...&, they tanked even more when Obama came to speak, which was too late in the program, as many East coasters & middle American folks went to bed. The Obama/Clinton “adoring” media has no traction whatsoever with joe & jane public anymore.
I do believe the DNC show tonight will be a viewer ratings horror, from A-Z!!! Hillary has no MoJo, is boring and cannot deliver a spech with gusto, fire, energy and positive impact!!! Add to this failed convention...the true fact that Donald J. Trump not only stole the attention & focus from the DNC...but he also was drawing massive “Huge” crowds to his packed rallies during the DNC!!! If I were a Democrat, I would be shaking in my boots. This bad, failed, Obama, Clinton, Democrat convention farce is coming to an end, ended by the voting hands of the American people!!! GO DONALD J. TRUMP!!!
IF Hillary defeats Trump it will have been a victory for Political Correctness regardless of the inferiority of her party’s product.
If TRUMP wins, it will be a victory for Technical Correctness precisely because of the quality of his product.
I saw on Twitter last night that Trump has pulled within 3 points of Hillary in Oregon. This is significant given Obama won that state by 12 points in 2012.
