The FBI warned Hillary Clinton's campaign that it was the target of a cyberattack five months ago, but was spurned in its attempt to investigate, Yahoo News reported.
The Bureau back in March detailed for the Clinton campaign how it was being targeted and requested logs and contact info to investigate, but was turned away. The campaign allegedly thought the request for sensitive material was too intrusive, especially given the ongoing investigation into Hillary's private email server.

She had to. She is known as Crooked Hillary and for good reason.
Why, even if they are in her back pocket, would she want the FBI snooping around?
But that raises the question, what did the FBI know about her server and when? Were they read in on her little escapade and that’s why they they were watching for breeches? Is that why she got a free pass at the end of the “investigation?” If so that’s why they didn’t pursue it, they would have been drug through the mud as well.
Adds another dimension doesn't it.
She probably thought it was all a lie by FBI as part of a wider Right Wing conspiracy.
This woman is constantly the center of leaks, iuding anal seepage.
I don’t understand why she wouldn’t want the help. The logical reason why someone would decline is because they know that there is a chance that someone would uncover dirt on her. But recent events have proven that, although no one is dirtier than she, no one dares make a move against her.
It sure does. Our current government is corrupt folks, from the top down. Time to clean house.
Yep. They were more afraid that the FBI might find something than they were of being hacked.
Der Hildebeast sees the Whitehouse as a lifestyle upgrade and an open door to further increasing the Clinton political wealth generating machine. It is not about the good of the country. Wake up the dummies my FRiends.
The Clinton campaign was more willing to risk the Russians getting their stuff than the FBI looking at it.
This proves she's the real no nonsense law and order candidate. A real friend of law enforcement. Truth, justice and the American way.
QUESTION: Does the F.B.I. routinely notify non-governmental, commercial, or otherwise private organizations (like political parties) about possible cyberattacks?
Is that even in the scope of their duties? Would they inform, e.g., Free Republic if they somehow had suspicions that it might be the target of such an attack?
Regards,
Trump should just shut down the NSA when he is President. They know the criminality that is going down. And they should be letting it be known regardless of party and independent of the DOJ /FBI.
We are going to see an unexplained death soon.
Hmmmmmm...
Another example of how reliable she is when it comes to computer security
Interesting....He certainly would have browsed everything using “catch” words.
Looks like Seth has the background to do it.
