While it’s still crazy enough that the guy you reference did a similar jump, he did his from about 2000 feet with a wingsuit out of a stable, hovering helicopter. He flew onto a 100-yard x 20-yard airstrip of cardboard boxes, and since he had a wingsuit, his landing was nearly horizontal, at about 70mph.

This new moron is doing it from 25,000 feet out a Cessna that’s doing 80mph+, and this idiot doesn’t use a wingsuit to provide more aerodynamic action. So he’ll be heading nearly straight down, at about 120mph. This is a guy with a serious death wish.

Well maybe he’ll die “doing what he loves!”

I agree it was much less crazy, but it was crazy enough. 60’x 100’ is pretty tiny from 2000’ and I wonder how much “science went into the cardboard box catch zone. I was impressed with both the stupidity and balls of the stunt. Then again I have kids and a wife to support.
