Donald Trump and members of his Secret Service detail were briefly trapped in an elevator Friday before a campaign rally in Colorado Springs.
They were rescued by firefighters with the Colorado Springs Fire Department, which lowered a ladder into the elevator, allowing Trump and his entourage to climb out. Two Trump campaign sources confirmed the incident to CNN. The story was first reported by the Denver Post. Trump eventually took the stage at the rally, where he opened his remarks by blasting the local fire marshal for shutting off entry to his campaign event due to capacity restrictions.

I saw the rally on RightSide broadcasting. I don’t remember Trump slamming the fire department.
I recall years ago when Saddam Hussein allowed CNN to have a branch in Baghdad as long as they didn’t disrespect him by telling the truth. Of course they did as they were told and acted as useful little lapdogs.

Yes — Trump’s statement had to due with capacity restrictions. CNN mixed things up as usual and he wasn’t complaining about being rescued. There are good reasons for capacity limitations and Trump should be grateful he gets such a crowd where that becomes a problem.
Hillary was rescued from a stalled esculator on several occasions.
You can take every word that CNN says as pure gospel. They are the most trusted name in media.
