Debate Commission Tells Trump The Dates Are Set
All Media NY ^ | 7/31/2016 | staff

Responding to Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee's complaints about the debate schedule, the Commission on Presidential Debates on Sunday said the schedule is set.

In order to select the best nights for the 2016 debates, the CPD started working more than 18 months ago to identify religious and federal holidays, baseball league playoff games, NFL games, and other events.

Donald Trump and RNC officials have complained that two of the three scheduled presidential and one vice-presidential debates overlap with NFL games.

If I were Trump and had a lead I would start hinting about skipping the NFL debates. I wouldn’t say I was just hinting I might. Watch what happens.

Why don’t they just skip the debates? They’ll be a sham. Hillary will have been given the questions ahead of time so she can prepare. And her wee bladder will be her excuse to leave the stage and collaborate with her staffers during the breaks. IIRC, she pulled this during the dem debates, and violated the debate rules. Doubtful if she’ll have a come-to-Jesus moment before her debates with Trump and all of a sudden become ethical and noble.

True. And some things are more important than a f’in’ rigged debate...like the future of our nation, society, and culture—which includes football! ;)

Don’t attend if they don’t reschedule.

Take ownership of your own schedule.

They don't call the Republicans the STUPID PARTY for nothing.

PS---Panetta just weighed in with some strong criticism of Trump. Panetta should be disqualified to be on this committee due to a clear and current conflict of interest.

Of course, the Repubs---who always cave on the debate times, dates and moderators---are more inclined than ever to cave this year: ANYTHING to make things harder on Trump and more likely to lose.

With Obama the question was always, is he really this stupid or is he intentionally trying to destroy the USA.

With the Repub branch of the Uniparty, the question is, are they that cowardly and have no balls or do they want the Dems to win?

Not to the bread-and-circus football zombies.

Fair Points!

BTW, I loved watching Manafort trying to explain to that idiot Chuck Todd on MTP, that Trump’s complaint about having the debates the same night as the NFL games was due to the fact that Trump wanted the maximum number of viewers for the debates. Todd was being intentionally obtuse in trying to assert that Trump was trying to shy away from the debates.

I for one cannot wait to watch Trump fillet this bi*ch!

I see
“professional” Washiongton DC “women” (Hillary zombies),
university professors and presidents (democrats, loyalists to democrats and the academia (who despise Trump!) and uber-socialists as a crowd,
Party democrat professionals (Panetta for example),
liberal RINO politicians,
democrat politicians,

and 2 others who “might be” independent. Maybe.

Do you see ANY conseravtives? Even Cruz-conservatives?

EVERYBODY is aprofssional Washington insider or has ajob REQUIRING they be a professional insider with links to insider money and influence!

By the time the debates roll around Hillary will be so far down in the polls that she will wish that these debates were scheduled for better viewership and that there were more of them.

——The gov’t bias against any one candidate is unethical at the least and should be illegal at best. It’s also pathetic and completely visible. There oughta be a law against this kind of biased government activity.——

What bias are you talking about....?

When the debate schedule was decided upon, Trump wasn’t even in the picture....

BTW, there are laws against government bias...very hard to prove...

Yep and to see the melt down on twitter and elsewhere of the never Trump morons, you’d think he demanded a re-count already.

These people are honestly scary nutso unhinged, filled to the brim with sheer hatred. It’s hilarious!

“Would be interesting to see if he invites Jill Stein and Gary Johnston to an alternate debate on a free evening. That would put a lot of pressure on Hillary and the Commission.”

Great idea. Sounds like something Trump himself might have thought of.
