VFW rips Trump's 'out-of-bounds' attack on Khan family

The Veterans of Foreign Wars blasted Donald Trump on Monday for his comments about Ghazala Khan, the mother of a fallen Muslim Army captain, calling the Republican nominee "out of bounds."

“Election year or not, the VFW will not tolerate anyone berating a Gold Star family member for exercising his or her right of speech or expression,” said VFW leader Brian Duffy in a statement.

Story Continued BelowTrump said in his interview with ABC that aired Sunday that Ghazala Khan "wasn't allowed to have anything to say" as her husband, Khizr, criticized the Republican nominee at the Democratic National Convention last week.

“There are certain sacrosanct subjects that no amount of wordsmithing can repair once crossed,” Duffy said in the statement. “Giving one’s life to nation is the greatest sacrifice, followed closely by all Gold Star families, who have a right to make their voices heard.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made the following comment regarding the election of Brian Duffy as Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars:

“I want to congratulate my good friend Brian Duffy on his election as commander-in-chief of the national Veterans of Foreign Wars. For decades, Brian has worked tirelessly on behalf of his fellow veterans. Most notably, he has led the organization Bluegrass Honor Flight to bring Kentucky’s World War II and Korean War veterans to Washington to see the monuments erected for their service. I’ve always enjoyed working with him on projects to benefit Kentucky veterans, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the years ahead. Kentucky and the nation are grateful for his leadership and service.

“Let me also congratulate my good friend Carl Kaelin, whom I’ve also worked with many times on behalf of Bluegrass State veterans, for his appointment to serve as chief of staff to the commander in chief.”

VFW turncoats. I have zero respect for anyone who uses their kid’s death as a political tool. If they do, all is fair game.

Damn foreigners.

My friend who fought in Vietnam was told the same thing.
Now VFW halls are closing left and right. Once the last of the Korean War vets passes they’ll be a memory.

Maybe the VFW wants to import terrorists, so we can fight them on American soil instead of fighting them overseas. Then they could become the Veterans of Foreign and Domestic Wars.

This is from Politico, which has been proven to let the DNC write their material. This is being reported by numerous sources

Well, that’s what this mindset will result in, if by intention or not.

Very sad...

PLEASE Trump get some GOLD STAR families to start speaking on your behalf and go after Clinton. Have them demand equal time from Clinton News Services.

Obama is in Atlanta right now speaking to the VFW and then having a $33,400 per person lunch at a private residence.

I think the VFW has a muslim in their headquarters. I think Trump wondered why Mrs Kahn didn’t say anything about her son.
Something terrible is happening in our country when our “leaders” are being easily misled by enemies of our country, who’ve weaved their way into our laws. Word is out that the Kahns are members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

I am just not upset. Not one bit.

Did this Captain Khan call Trump and ask for help and did Trump ignore those calls for help? Is Khan dead because of Trump?

Trump was attacked by the Muslim lawyer with Clinton Crime Family Foundation ties.

Trump SAID THE DEAD SON WHO SERVED IN THE MILITARY WAS A HERO. The VFW apparatchik is either willingly ignorant or blatantly ignoring the truth in that regard.

Does the VFW support what the Muslim lawyer with Clinton Crime Family Foundation ties said about Trump on the stage in front of millions of viewers? If not, then take a chill pill.

Bueller? Bueller?

Trump tweeted wondered why she stood there and didn’t say anything.
Hillary calls Patricia Smith: mother of slain American hero Sean Smith, a liar.
Sounds like special pleading. GTH.
And go directly.
