[x] Alcohol is okay. (1930s)
[x] No fault divorce. (1950s)
[x] Teen sex is okay. (1970s)
[x] Gay sex is okay. (1990s)
[x] Males are equivalent to females (Harvard, 2000)
[x] Same-sex marriage is okay. (2010)
[x] Male-Female sex/gender transition by surgery is okay (2015)
[x] Pot is good for everybody (2010’ish)
It was that demon whiskey that started us down this path to perdition!
And I'm only being semi-sarcastic.
I think it's safe to say alcohol has destroyed more lives than all the other drugs in the world, combined. And if you've ever known a hard core alcoholic, you know exactly what I mean.
I have 4 buddies from High School that didn't make it to 40yrs as a DIRECT result of drinking. And they caused nothing but misery and heartache until they took their last breath.
I think it would be easier to limit your list to one item:
1) the nuclear family is no longer your number one influence (instead, get your values from TV, movies, and your hippie teachers, kids!)
The rest is just details.
