When it’s in the 90’s and you don’t have A/C, NOTHING is appealing except ice water. A tubful of it to sit in. LOL

You need to invest in an A/C, even if it’s just a little one that would cool one room. At least you’d have one spot you could be comfy in. Did that years ago and it was a life-saver.

Coming from Florida, where everybody has Central A/C, it has been a shocker.

All my windows are strangely shaped and will not accommodate an air conditioner, so I am going to have to cut a whole in the wall.

This involves skills which i do not have. (((I’m a MUSICIAN, not a contractor!)))

So I am going to have to “save up” for this project.

Dad gets back at it other ways, like arriving at the nest with a beakful of sticks and dumping them on the kiddo’s head. LOL

It just needs to learn to land on the edge of the nest and not the middle. It’s been practicing but it’s a slow learner. Slower than the other storks I’ve been watching.

Checked on the eagles a little while ago and poor Lady is drenched. Going to be a wet day so we won’t get to see the babies very much. I don’t know if that stain is permanent but at least for now we’ll be able to tell them apart.

Summer in FL without A/C is a misery for sure. Went through that the summer of ‘73 in Tallahassee and thought I wouldn’t survive. That’s when I made up my mind that FL would never be “home”. Moved to NC and stayed there for years.
A/C’s a must there and here in TN too. Ugh!

Bummer your windows won’t accommodate an A/C. That does put a kink in the plans, doesn’t it? Hope it doesn’t take long to save up to get it done. I feel for ya!

Time to hit the road. Need to visit Aunt Clara for a bit before hitting the grocery store. Catch ya later this evening.

I survived 3 weeks in S. FL after The infamous hurricane season of 2005 (((Katrina, Rita, Ivan, Wilma, and on into the Greek Alphabet))) with NO electricity or clean water.

One gets resourceful.

Enjoy your day. I just finished my dusting chore and now it’s time to hit the bath and then a nice nap! I slept till 9:30-ish this morning. It was NICE! And, yes, I’m getting spoiled. You think they might be giving me a hint? LOL!
