You want to stop a discussion, it’s real simple, stop posting on a discussion thread.
Re-read my post. I said I wanted to stay focused on my central/only point, as opposed to branching out into other time-consuming areas. If you want to discuss my actual point, I’ll be happy to oblige. If you want to change the subject, you need to look elsewhere for someone to take up that discussion
