Many MANY years ago, I played a game called "Command and Conquer", it was a war game based around The U.N. fighting a Terrorist Organization called the Brotherhood of Nod, lead by a man named "Kane"
The Turning point is when you as the U.N. commander was framed for murdering groups of Children in War Torn Poland. Kane hijacks your video feed an taunts you with the fact that Your Army has been emasculated and "You yourself are a killer of Children (pause) of course it's not true, but the world only believes what the Media tells them to believe, and I tell the Media what to believe it is really quite simple"
That has stuck with me for 15 Years.
The Power that fiends can inflict over the masses and get them to believe That Slavery is Freedom.

Palin was under the constraints imposed by the directors of the McCain campaign, some of whom were backstabbing her. Trump is under no such constraints.

I told her everyone is going balls to the wall to discredit him because he is the only one telling the truth and that scares them more than anything except for so many people are listening to him.
Also, the Trump family (wife/kids) knows what to expect and are much more politically savvy.
They did a lot of damage to Gov. Palin, but she still has a lot of followers and is a political force. Ted Cruz sought and got her endorsement when running for the Senate as did dozens of others... So no the media did lots of damage, but they didn't successfully destroy her.

Sometimes selling out can be easily explained.
How much time does Rush devote to talking about Hillary’s current scandals compared to the media’s talking point of the day about Trump?
This is Rush’s sly way of reinforcing the media’s attacks on Trump. Rush pretends he is talking about the media, Obama, and others, but the more he repeats “Trump is unfit,” “Trump is a reprobate,” “Trump is an idiot for lying about it” . . . he is subtly reinforcing everything the dems are saying.
