The way Trump gets out of this is a divine intervention of LYIN RYAN losing his primary, these polls being hoisted upon us I don’t believe for a minute Ryan with 80% of the vote NO WAY!!!! We ALL NEED to pray like we have NEVER prayed before, I NEVER want Mr. Trump put in this position again!!!! Mr. Trump is YUGE on loyalty as he is loyal in return him being FORCED to do this is DISPICABLE !!!!!

The thing is that sadly, Paul Ryan will probably win based on all polling. If this was another state, I think Nehlen would have had a shot. You have to remember that the #NeverTrump movement had their last stand in Wisconsin. That was the final victory of Cruz, and he won well there. Charlie Sykes is apparently a popular radio host there, and he is a leader in the #NeverTrump movement. Paul Ryan is also popular there if we believe polling. Also, Paul Ryan is literally two heartbeats from the Presidency. Someone that powerful is hard to knock out, unlike your average congressman. If we include those four things, it doesn’t look good for Nehlen. As I said, another state, Nehlen maybe has a chance. I am hoping beyond all hope that Nehlen can pull it off, but I am expecting the worst.

Now Kelli Ward is apparently losing in the polls to John McCain as well. Newsmax posted a poll which showed her getting beat 47-22.

It could just be that Donald Trump saw the writing on the wall and resigned himself to the fact he’s going to probably have to deal with these two and figured that it would be worse if he didn’t endorse them. If he didn’t endorse them and they won, it might be a way for people to say that his endorsement isn’t needed. It might also be a way for Trump to have some leverage with them because if they win and he didn’t endorse them, then they might be less likely to work with him. Trump may have calculated this would help with party unity and RNC support if he got behind them now.

I don’t really subscribe to the latter or second theory. I that if you’re Trump, you have people who worked tirelessly and argued vociferously on your behalf. You’re a guy who values loyalty. Meanwhile, you have two people who take every single opportunity to throw you under a bus and make it clear they will be a thorn in your side. You know the latter will probably win and you know the establishment wants the latter, but you prefer the former and so does your base who likes anti-establishment figures because you are running as one. Therefore, I think the best thing to do is to endorse neither. Reince has no business endorsing one over the other. As RNC Chairman, it is his JOB to remain neutral. All you have to say is that they didn’t endorse you until you won your primary, so you will let the process play out. It’s fair and speaks volumes.

If Trump remained neutral and endorsed after, the establishment would have been salty, but so what? They would have had to come around or not. They couldn’t treat Trump any worse than they already have.

For the record, Paul Nehlen has taken this like a champ, although I am sure he is disappointed. Kelli Ward, on the other hand, has made her disappointment more clear. She has retweeted many people who are upset with Trump’s decision. She still says that she will support Trump, though.
