politico ^ | August 05, 2016 | Ben Wofford

Electronic voting machines—particularly a design called Direct Recording Electronic, or DRE’s—took off in 2002, in the wake of Bush v. Gore. For the ensuing 15 years, Appel and his colleagues have deployed every manner of stunt to convince the public that the system is pervasively unsecure and vulnerable.

“Good guys do not break the law.
Bad guys have no compunction about breaking the law.”

And the ranks of politics are filled with bad guys, and bad girls..

Watch the video that’s embedded in this article. The official is trying to defend the integrity of the electronic voting, but the machine he’s using keeps registering the wrong votes, even after recalibration.

The correct way to read this article is to do so with Obama’s/Jarrett’s eyes.

Create an impression our elections and votes are not secure.

Blame another group, in this case the Russians, when in fact the Fox in the henhouse is them, the DNC.

Remember Jeh Johnson told us recently he would be ensuring our elections are safe (meaning obama/jarrett).

Look for an announcement of increased oversight by DHS over the key swing state election ‘mechanisms’.

This also gives 0bama freedom to declare some perceived emergency near election time.

Are they sociopathicallydictatoriallypowermad enough to do this?

Then why all the guns and personnel carriers in cities around the US? Perhaps they know we wouldn’t approve of their increased oversight of our elections.

LOL. Not funny as to outcome, just amazing the depths of denial and deliberate deception. I don't care what his motivation is, but he needs to be kicked to the curb.

Factcheck: took off in 2002, in the wake of Bush v. Gore

They took off in the wake of Sen Chris Dodd’s HAVA - Help America Vote Act.

Where I vote in Michigan, we use the paper fill in oval ballots.

True the California primary elections proved DRE’s are hacked when somebody voted republican the vote was switched to democrat unsecure and vulnerable indeed.
The election rules go back to the old right way every state votes on the same day and only with paper votes and proof of ID.

One of the best security measures is the 8,000 or so county clerks all doing it their way.

With no national standard, the hackers have lots of different systems to break.

With their proposed national standard and national security, there is only one line to breach

“Back in the day, universal suffrage was viewed as a danger.”

They warned against the dangers of democracy, nowadays the majority seems to think that somehow it is wonderful to allow every retard in the nation to vote. Not allowing 18 year olds with the understanding of a two year old to vote would be “elitist”.

"So, why can’t the good guys beat the bad guys at their own game?"

Doing so would be a violation of the law.

So the left and the oligarchs have their way because they realize the rule of law is gone while we pray fervently for its return while abiding by laws that are only enforced against us.

Obama also got elected the first time for prez through voter fraud.

Not just because Soros counted the votes from his machines, but also because of ACORN and millions of non American citizens voting.

Most major elections are decided by vote fraud.

Even JFK was voted in with fraud.

Michigan voting machines “scan” paper ballots into a computerized tabulator.
Doesn’t matter that it’s “paper fill in oval ballots”. The easy steal is the State computer that the tabulators send the vote counts to. This State computer runs the GEMS software. A simple set of fixed parameters in the GEMS software on the state computer can overturn an election in 4 seconds.

btw- Michigan’s machines are falling apart... (memory modules that get the vote counts from the paper scanning of the ballots are dying).

—— clip
“We’ve had to swap tabulators out, we’ve had errors in communication in uploads, we’ve had memory packs that have gone bad,” Byrum said. “It’s extremely stressful.”

Good point! I like the local system here...paper "fill in the bubble" ballots plus scanners for them (fast count), but still paper ballots to count if there are any questions or a recount.

All of the votes don’t have to be counted.

FreeRepublic poll watching Brigade?

Perhaps all that need be done is create a political party for poll watching purposes.

In Chicago they register Democrats as faux Republicans and have the faux Republicans act as poll watchers and poll judges.

Relatively recent article here, about California election administration:

Complaints about “lack of standardization” give me hope. So what if the lines are long.

There aren’t any.

Director Comey is proof of that.

Somebody needs to study the Supreme Court Judges in the battleground states, and the Federal Court of Appeals judges in the Federal Circuits that might hear a case regarding the Presidential election from the battleground states after the November election.

Because the U.S. Supreme Court has four liberals who would sanction election fraud by the Democrats, and assuming Roberts, Alito, Kennedy and Thomas would not (who knows about Roberts and Kennedy?), the Supreme Court would tie 4-4. This means that the decision of the state Supreme Court or the Federal Circuit Court would stand.

Unlike Bush v. Gore in 2000, we cannot depend on the U.S. Supreme Court to have the final word.

Who are the judges who might hear the election cases from the battleground states?
