Not if he takes a leaf from obama’s book: stop enforcing a LOT of EPA and other regs. This economy would take off like a rocket if gubmint got out of the way.

Exactly...Eliminate wasteful government so-called jobs and have them apply for private sector jobs...

Except they would HAVE to work then....

Well, I sure hope he can get out their and explain to all the dumb asses why everyone needs tax cuts. That it even helps people who aren’t working and paying any income tax.

That’s a monumental feat, explaining tax cuts to brainwashed sheep.

The supply side effect works for both the rich, and the poor.

Why not cut the taxes of the working poor and reward them for working and not going on welfare. Do you realize that 53% of people who qualify for a welfare program do not apply for that program? Only 475 who could be on welfare are.

Those of Mexican ancestry have the lowest participation rate. They have the highest rate of people who qualify to be on a program...and aren’t. It drives the leftist navigators crazy.

It is a nice idea, but almost half of all Americans are not paying taxes. Dunno if they will care.

Many of them do care, and they have have very strong feelings about this. They see that other people are earning more than they are, and even more than than their sister's husband. Obviously, such people need to be taxed more because, well, ... fairness. This is one of the three central organizing principles of the Democrat Party. The other two central organizing principles relate to indemnification from all harms resulting from sexual proclivities and conduct by the state, and victimology.

No they don’t. They want YOU to pay taxes but THEY don’t want to. In fact, libs are some of the biggest tax deduction scammers I’ve ever seen.

I hope Trump plans to cut off funding to other countries, especially those in the middle east. They already hate us, so let’s give them more reason to do so, while helping this country to have lower taxes.

If Trump expands on what Reagan did by speaking directly to the American people and calling out greed laden Congress people by name, he will succeed wonderfully.

The talking point for tomorrow will be along the lines of “How will he PAY for it!”.

It's a valid question and one he needs to be ready to answer. When he came out with his first tax plan, the one on his website, there were estimates that it would increase the deficit by $10 trillion over ten years. Now according to the article his new plan has reduced that amount considerably. He still needs to detail specific cuts to make up for it.

If he cuts taxes and gets government on the right track to start cutting spending, then where would the deficits come from?

It's the cutting spending that is the unknown. Trump needs to start detailing those. We currently run a budget deficit of $300 to $400 billion. According to this article the tax plan will increase that by another $300 billion. We know that Trump is advocating increases in defense and infrastructure spending. Close to three quarters of a trillion dollars needs to be cut from spending.

These tax cuts while terrific and classy, will enlarge the deficit enormously.

Not necessarily. Cuts in tax rates can actually create increases in tax collections as the economy grows.

Interesting chart with where the budget goes. It looks like several agencies could stand going away or serious cuts. HHS for one.

Try explaining to a liberal that taxes on corporation are passed onto the consumer (us) and they will give you a confused look then blurt “but, but, but . . . corporations make so much money . . . obscene profits . . . executive compensation . . . blurt, spiff, gurburble.”

Here, let Tim Robbins (F.A.G) explain it to you:

Team America

By the time he finishes “playing the game” it will be a tax hike.

About 90% of the HHS budget goes for Medicare and Medicaid. Trump has said that he will not be cutting those.

Study after study show that tax cuts increase revenue. I don’t understand the liberal-think that votes for tax increases.

“Lost tax revenue” is a nonsensical term;

Those missing billions from Hillary's State Department would disagree with you.
