How is this political? Did you know the people?

I did not say it was political or tag it as political.

No one made you and others read this story. It shows people need Jesus. Man does not need politics all the time. Frankly, I am fed up with politics.

You know it’s bad when you consider a murder/suicide a reprieve from politics.

It was tagged ‘News/current events’. No politics tag

The linked article makes it sound like the mom was the one who pulled the trigger.

then I found this article that mentioned the husband was angry at the wife for leaving him for another woman in the “transplant support” group.

70 miles north of Philly is still Philly.

IT’s not a small town. It’s a town of pure evil and villainy. The whole area around Philly is disgusting.

Just my two cents. Also, this is news / current events. Makes sense to me.

You just twisted the hell out of their comment. No place did they say it was a “reprieve” you just made it up.

I was also trying to figure that out. Article doesn’t clear that up. It still could be either of them who killed the family and then themselves.

Odds are it was the husband.
I can’t remember the last time I read a story like this and it was the wife killing the husband and the kids.

Could you clarify that for me?

I am unfamiliar with the area and what you posted seems strange.

I’m very familiar with the area as I was born in Berks County. Yes, it’s a small, rural town and no, it’s not anything like Philadelphia.

His post was strange and really quite ignorant.

Both parents were under heavy pressure from trying to keep their youngest daughter going. I didn’t know 1 week old infants could receive heart transplants. That’s where you need an expert, a Dr. Ben Carson type. I didn’t think it was necessary of the author to list the book titles of novels the wife had been reading. Millions read or have read Steven King’s gory novels and they don’t go out murdering to and fro.

Nowhere is outside family mentioned. I saw nowhere that said they got a date night, because one of the grandparents took the kids in. Some families just aren’t close enough to share such complicated responsibilities with, such as making sure the infant got her anti-organ rejection medicines on time. Some families move out of the hometown area, and sort of go at it alone. Some of the facebook dialog may be considered police evidence. The author shows all the dirty laundry, making it look like gossip.
Very tragic. They could have asked for help from somebody.

Come on, do you really think Philadelphia is worse than any other big city? And 70 miles away really isn’t Philly any more.

The town is NOT all that rural. In between Allentown and Reading. Very close to Kuztown, a college town.

In my opinion, not rural at all. More suburban than rural.
