Pressure is growing on the White House to respond to Russia’s apparent hack of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), placing President Obama in a delicate political position.
Evidence has mounted that the Russian government was behind the theft of tens of thousands of damaging internal emails from the DNC, leading prominent lawmakers from both sides of aisle to call for some form of response.
The ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence committees and the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee have all issued calls for Obama to “seek justice” for the alleged attack.

The only reason is it affects Dems politically. China can do whatever the hell it wants all day long.

I would surmise that the line would be more rainbowish than red.
Strange how out of all the security incidents the IRS, the OPM, the DHS, the FBI, and the CIA have had the last year or two, it is ONLY this one where they can show beyond a reasonable doubt that Putin is trying to discredit Hillary because he fears her more than Trump.
And also a coninky-dink that that narrative benefits them politically. What are the odds?

It’s pretty amusing how the tables have turned - used to be the GOP scared everyone with Russia to get people to vote bullets over beans. Now we see the all powerful Putin (he is what the Clinton foundation is trying to be) and they are making him into a boogieman for making their champion look weak. Now the narrative is that somehow Trump is in cahoots with Putin even though they have nothing to do with one another and people suggest Putin has hackers trying to help Trump?
Fact - if Russia could hack the DNC so could anonymous, China, and probably quite a few fat slobs sitting in the middle of old pizza boxes in their mother’s basement.
Going from Zero Evidence to full throated lesbian histrionics is not “growing evidence”.
How about a reset button to delete the emails?

It’s all psywar. I’m sure KGB Vlad prefers a doormat like Hillary and the America hating Democrat party to an American patriot like Trump. Putin needs enemies to keep the Russian people distracted while his kleptocracy robs the nation blind. Therefore, the west will be conflict with Russia as long as Putin is their Tin Pot Czar.

There was one report that some of the emails had notations in Russian on them.
That report has since disappeared.
I think you are right. Putin prefers America weak and he knows we are on a path to destroy ourselves with entitlements. Hillary guarantees we continue down that path. Trump says he wants a stronger military and he wants to address our debt.
On a personal level I would guess there is much Putin respects about Trump, but ultimately he votes with his wallet.
Dude. Relax. Russia did it, and it helps our side. Stop making excuses for them. Concentrate on never letting it happen again.
Compromise. Copy maybe. Since H->! still has her e-mails, there was no "theft".
