Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Sunday’s “Cats Roundtable” on New York AM 970 radio that the elite media is against GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“It is a period of turmoil. A lot of Republicans get very scared. The elite media is 95 percent against Trump and they’re doing everything they can to fan the flames of a panic. The fact is that this race is a long, long way from over. The truth is that Hillary Clinton is probably the most dishonest person ever to run for president, and certainly the most corrupt ever to be nominated for president,” Gingrich said to host John Catsimatidis.
Gingrich also believes Trump can bounce back from his tough last two weeks.
He added, ”Trump has had a tough two weeks, but people need to remember just before those weeks he was ahead in every poll. So, the chance for him to bounce back again is very real. Hillary has enormous liabilities.”

The GOPe is probably 100% against Trump.....fact is the American public picked him to run despite the elite MSM and the GOPe. Says a lot. Now let’s see what Trump can do with the chance he has with all of them working against him.

If the MSM were covering actual news, it would have been a rough two weeks for Hillary! Alas, the MSM is spiking or under-reporting anything that might be against her. The resignations at the DNC of its Chairman, CEO/CFO and Communications Director; her lying to Chris Wallace about what the FBI Director ACTUALLY said. Her many different interpretations of the FBI Director’s comments. Her apparent ‘mal seizures’ at least twice, and her needing help to make it up a small flight of stairs ...
But oh, were they busy covering the Kahn story, the endorse or not endorse stories re Ryan/McCain/Ayotte, and stories of weak-kneed Repubs who either wouldn’t endorse Trump or who said they’d vote for Hillary or a 3rd party ticket.
Really and truly disgusting. IF there were a professional code of conduct and IF it were executed, we’d have maybe three ‘journalists’ left working.
And if applied to government, 3 people left in this corrupt administration.

“Elite” is seriously misused with those guys.
Do you have reasons for distrusting him? I happen to hold Newt in high regard. A lone sage, sane voice in this morass of dirty politics.
