No you just boil it. Takes a little practice. Very simple. Starts with a fine grind.

Hi Nikos1121......a question....we have never been able to find a good coffee grinder that can make the fine grind for Greek style coffee....any recommendations...?

.....buying Bravo coffee from US distributors is too expensive...and often the coffee is so old it doesn't make a good cup.
