I have the same KitchenAid coffee mill. It was the only one on the market I could find that appeared to be well designed and constructed, but cost less than an commercial-grade unit. About the only criticism it got from Amazon reviewers was that the bowl that collects the ground coffee seemed flimsy and needed to be handled with care.

If a grind that is coarser or finer than what the adjustment dial covers is needed, the instructions tell how to move an internal gear (under the knob) a couple of notches to extend the range one way or the other.

I find it really good. Easy to clean.

There are hand made ones that are fun to use but cost almost the same.

The bowl of the KA is heavy glass. I recall paying around $160 new for mind about 8 to 10 years ago.
