I cannot, for the life on me, understand how someone who will not do the job they were hired to do can expect to sue the employer. This is insanity.
That sums it up. I belong to a fundamental baptist church. I serve alcohol because it is part of my job. (I don’t agree with the fb belief that all alcohol is sin so it’s not a perfect parallel.) If I were to request that my fellow servers carried all the drinks to my tables it would be a huge burden on them, it would hurt service to customers, and I would be fired.
They always get their way. Jennie-O turkey used to use lard on their meat processing equipment, not anymore-it’s now shortening. Companies put in foot washing sinks and allow breaks for prayers that are often enough to cost the company money. It’s madness.
Part of their job is, quite literally, being a cocktail waitress. It’s like a bartender refusing to serve alcohol and then suing because he was fired.
First and foremost, you have to be in the right victim class. Then, the sky's the limit.
So, extract “Islam” from the 1st Amendment.
Islam is a violent and tyrannical ideology of government and has absolutely NOTHING to do with “religion”.
“X sues employer/business/etc for (whatever)” reads the headlines.
A truthful headline would read, “Lawyer, dreaming of his 25% - 35% commission, finds offended patsy and beguiles them with tales of ‘you’ll be RICH!’ if you hire me to sue so & so!”
Otherwise, the lawyer would have to resort to buying Lotto Powerball tickets at the 7-Eleven every weekend.
