As other migratory routes north have closed, migrants have converged on the Italian city of Milan, in what Italian press are describing as an “invasion” of thousands of migrants and fear of thousands more. In past weeks, caravans of migrants who arrive in southern Italy have made their way north, only to find their progress halted by tight borders with France, Austria and Switzerland. The result has been a growing migrant population forming in such areas as Lake Como, Ventimiglia and now the Italian industrial capital of Milan.

The muslims have already been eyeing a basilica in, I think, Padua for several years because a fresco shows muhammed in hell according to Dante. What they fail to notice is that Dante also has bishops and Popes in hell.
What, the Mediterranean shuttle service provided by the Italian navy isn’t such a great idea after all?
If they get to Lake Como, Perhaps George and Amal Clooney will open up their doors to them???

Exactly. This invasion is of their own doing.
If they had sunk a few tramp freighters or two full of the invaders at the beginning there would be no problem today. The few invaders who got through they could have vacuumed them up and deposited them back on a lonely Libyan beach. Instead of becoming a sewer Italy could have continued on as a real country instead of a Muslim toilet. Now it is probably too late. A few thousand dead Muslim invaders would have been far preferable to millions of dead or enslaved Italians and a destroyed nation and culture.
We can only hope we in this country will understand the graphic lesson of national self destruction.

Burqas will be strolling Milan’s high fashion runways for the spring collection. Rihanna and Miley and Angelina will be oooh-ing and aaah-ing in the front row.

Indefensible coastline. I always knew they were the most vulnerable. Doesn’t seem to matter much now, though. Other countries getting overrun too.
I was in Milan and Tuscany about 18 months ago... just before migrant crisis hit. There were already marauding bands of street hustlers from Africa who hounded tourists to buy cheap umbrellas, selfie sticks etc. The police would wave them off and five min later they’d reappear. It’s almost as bad as the gypsy children who harangue tourists in Greece. I can’t imagine what it’s like now. I have postponed my trips until it gets colder.
We’re planning on going to The Amalfi Coast next year.
