Multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation, according to a former senior law enforcement official.
The investigation centers on New York City, where the Clinton Foundation has its main offices, according to the former official who has direct knowledge of the activities.
Prosecutorial support will come from various U.S. Attorneys Offices — a major departure from other centralized FBI investigations.

This jerk NY District Attorney doesn’t mess around. If he gets a recommendation for an indictment, he will do just that.
He took down both the Republican Senate Majority Leader and Democrat Assembly Speaker in New York on corruption charges and stopped just short of nabbing crooked Mario Cuomo’s son.
He will have no problem taking down the Clintons, if necessary.
I keep on saying that if Hillary gets elected, she’ll join Bill with the honor of getting impeached.

I should have read a few posts farther.
This is happening because the DOJ has forbidden the FBI to investigate the Clinton Foundation, and the associated mess that goes with it.
However, if the FBI works with state attorneys; the FBI can help them to bring charges under the RICO statutes.

And, so far, in the history of the republic, no president has been removed. Although, the first President Johnson came within one vote, sadly.

The info about the FBI’s investigation of the pay-to-play racketeering involving the foundation was leaked about a year ago. At that time supposedly FBI staff met, discussed the preliminary evidence on both the email and the racketeering, and made the decision enough had been found to proceed with an investigation.
The fly in the ointment is that although the Clinton Family Foundation is headquartered in NY, the Clinton Global Initiative Foundation is headquartered in Arkansas.
