What everyone must understand is this: the Republicans don’t want to be in the majority. They don’t want to be in charge. To be in charge means that you have to work, use your brain, take risks and craft and implement an agenda. All of that is hard work.
One thing that the Dems do is work tirelessly and unceasingly to gain power, increase their influence and implement their agenda. Frankly they outwork the Republicans at every turn.
Republicans are lazy. They like the perks of being in office but the better office space afforded to the majority party isn’t enough motivation for them.
