“Any GOP organization where you live is begging for volunteer poll watchers.”

In 2012 I called the local Republican Party. The woman who answered acted as though I were a prank caller. In the end, she said it was up to candidates to arrange for poll watchers.

Tell me specifically where you live. I might be in a position to get a dishonest response like that investigated.

Contact the state SOS or your local county Clerks office
Information for each state vary. Your state information should be on line. I suggest you search poll worker with state name
I do believe “poll watchers” are designated through candidate
Poll workers are part of your local election board and are actually part of state organization
In some states if no member of a party signs up to make the poll places even local official can appoint anyone to place therefor the entire board is held by one party — democrats
