You are correct, they have been tolerated for a long time. Now we have forced governmental acceptance by our thought control commissars. If you do not comply you will be destroyed.
I can be respectful to gays, also, but only when they stay out of our faces, out our innocent children's faces, and stop their activism and agendas with our schools, our government, our media and our bathrooms.
Christian intolerance? They have not seen anything close to intolerance. Quite the opposite, we've been overly tolerant.
