As with more progressive policies it is to render the government God with prophets, like obama, leader of the new church. They HATE Christianity. They hate Islam just as much but realize they are a powerful political ally useful for destroying Christianity.
Those who choose the path of false pride and arrogance tend to lash out in rage at even the slightest rejection of their path. While those who choose repentance and humility (even in their sin) generally retain a state of introspection and honesty about themselves, and man are they despised by the others.

Which is OK--- it's still relevant. In fact, things have gotten appallingly worse in the past year. Now they're trying to get any lawyer who expresses even a private opinion against the LGBT agenda, disbarred.
That's right. They want to drive all actual, practicing Christians right out of the legal profession.
