I remember in the early 80’s a push to privatize social security. The older generation fought it, and won. Now that I have been ripped off paying into social security, I am not going to be a victim and let it be taken away.
The younger generation voted Obama into the presidency, now they have to live with that choice, and the poor economy as a result. Also, no one forced them into paying for expensive, useless degrees.

“I am not going to be a victim and let it be taken away.”

Sounds very millennialish to me.

Oh yes you are. Unless you are an older baby boomer like myself.

The program is unsustainable just like all other aspects of socialism. It works until you run out of other people's money. That day if fast approaching.

I support any across-the-board reductions in Social Security. I don't support "means testing" and other nonsense that would turn it into just another welfare program.

You contradict yourself: you've already been ripped off (you say as much) and you know it.
To demand restitution from those who did you no wrong is unjust and only makes them into victims.
