News reports (I know) claim that the reorganization was recommended by Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner. I mention this just to add one more name (at least!) to your mental calculus. Trump may have tasked Jared with some sort of monitor, recommend function. “Hatchet man” in the vernacular.
Interesting. I know Kushner is friends with Corey Booker and a political Independent, but he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and to really believe in his father-in-law’s campaign. He’s also a good writer.
It shouldn’t be long before we find out if his advice was good or not (if the report’s accurate). A non-establishment, pro-Trump Breitbarter and a reasonable, talented former Cruzer (who specializes in polls and targeting voters) seem on paper like they would be good choices for someone like Trump.
