Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump changed things up Wednesday morning by bringing in two new leadership figures to help guide his campaign into November.
Trump hired Breitbart News Chairman Stephen Bannon to be the campaigns chief executive, and Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway to be campaign manager.
Trump says that Bannon and Conway are extremely capable, highly qualified people who love to win and know how to win.
I believe were adding some of the best talents in politics, with the experience and expertise needed to defeat Hillary Clinton in November and continue to share my message and vision to Make America Great Again, he added in the statement.
I am committed to doing whatever it takes to win this election, and ultimately become President because our country cannot afford four more years of the failed Obama-Clinton policies which have endangered out financial and physical security.
Hillary fires 3 of her conspiring top dogs and it's like nothing...
I see this Campaign Shake-up 3.0 as positive. Bannnon seems to be a solid conservative. I don’t know much about Conway. If Bannon and Conway can rid the campaign of the infighting and drama associated with Lewandowski and Manafort it will be a very positive move.
I sincerely hope that one or all of them recommend that he stop the use of teleprompters.
He has excellent speeches but he sounds too scripted and insincere in his remarks.
The better path, imo, is to have his bullet points available on paper in front of him, read them as written and then look directly into the camera back them up forcefully...he has used that winning option before and he sounded like the Trump we all know.
Good move, but will work only if Donald actually takes their advice, vs continuing to resist any changes.
It shows the flexibility of moving the campaign than the primary phase to the convention phase to the general election phase.
It's actually the Clinton campaign that's locked into the "old guard" who "know where all the bodies are. buried." They can't afford to bring outsiders into the inner circle of the family business, so they are stuck with the team they have for the duration.

Pray Trump stays the course.
And the media is already spinning at.........
Trump shakes up flailing campaign.....
And back at the ranch when blabbermouth was let go from cankles campaign nothing...........
Top phrase to be heard on all MSM today...”In a desperate attempt”
A hard right turn means Trump will stay on course and be even more combative. Sounds great to me.
About three rungs lower that it was yesterday.
Manafort was hired to deal with the convention.
Under Bannon Breitbart has become THE #1 alt media in the world with 2 million more views than Huff Po.
“Ok, then if everything was all huky dory, why change?? duh...”
Not changing. Adding. Didn’t need these people until now. Why show your hand this early in the campaign? This is an excellent move by the campaign. They are bringing in two hardcore operatives who can both keep the base well informed and active as well as get their message out to the general population.
Clinton campaign, but more importantly the neo-cons are wetting themselves.
oh im sure the Neoconpoops are busy sabotaging whatever they can...
:: Kellyanne Conway...has been promoted to the role of campaign manager...Paul Manafort will stay on as campaign chair...Stephen Bannon...will come on board as campaign CEO ::
Sounds like Trump’s campaign is turning into a bureaucracy. Bad optics at this point.
Reasonable question. Cory Lewandowsky was good at getting everything prepped for a primary campaign, but when it became successful, was not ready to handle delegate manipulation. Manafort brought in the nomination and laid the groundwork, but I think he’s still a “traditionalist” who doesn’t quite get the very different social media approach of the campaign. If there is one thing Bannon gets, it’s cutting edge promotion and advertising.
..Kellyanne is the best—says alot about DJT’s team building abilities...
Trump’s stunning decision effectively ended the months-long push by campaign chairman Paul Manafort to moderate Trump’s presentation and pitch for the general election. And it sent a signal, perhaps more clearly than ever, that the real-estate magnate intends to finish this race on his own terms, with friends who share his instincts at his side.
While Manafort, a seasoned operative who joined the campaign in March, will remain in his role, the advisers described his status internally as diminished due to Trump’s unhappiness and restlessness in recent weeks.
While Trump respects Manafort, the aides said, he has grown to feel “boxed in” and "controlled" by people who barely know him. Moving forward, he plans to focus intensely on rousing his voters at rallies and through media appearances.
Trump's turn away from Manafort is in part a reversion to how he ran his campaign in the primary with then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Lewandowski's mantra was "let Trump be Trump" and Trump wants to get back to that type of campaign culture, the aides said.
Excellent. Trump hires only the best.
