Rush has lost it, he’s no longer the effective warrior he once was.

He could have had a great show today if he reported the speech. Instead, he just meandered and said next to nothing.

I never thought I’d say Hannity was better, but right now, he’s head and shoulders above rush, has been for six months.

Things started going down hill when Manafort came on, Trump was doing quiet well before hand. Of course all of the Rino’s applauded the move, we should have known better.

I think this is better seen as different people for different phases of the campaign. As Trump approached sealing the nomination he needed someone to get as much of the establishment Republicans on board. The startup phase of the campaign was over and Manafort was a good choice. Many republicans started to come on board once Manafort came on. Manafort also got him through the convention fairly smoothly with most Republicans at least not bashing Trump.

Now we enter the media blitz phase of the campaign. For this he needs a media savvy guy with a take no prisoners attitude. In this phase proper placement of advertising, getting out the message and the attacks on the political shows and finally prepping for the debates. Many independents wait for the debates to make up their minds and the Trump campaign is going to have to Hammer home the message because the media will be against him 100%. Hopefully Banion is up to the task.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you see him in a more realistic light after all your research. Missed all the pics you post and I recall clearly when you began doing that! Right after the boston bombing and the subsequent search for the brother, you had asked how to post pics and bam, you were on fire!

Trump is Trump, warts and all. But he is a natural leader with VISION. That in itself is rare. Also, his analytical skills are a killer. Most of what he says, however rude and crass, ends up being right on the mark.

......”Trump is Trump, warts and all. But he is a natural leader with VISION. That in itself is rare. Also, his analytical skills are a killer. Most of what he says, however rude and crass, ends up being right on the mark.”.......

Well I heard that.."Trump is Trump" a lot....which rang no bells for me as it meant nothing. And I did not see his vision "clearly" for this country until much later. 'HE' knew what he believed and the positions he held, but he struggled to clarify these, (which was something I want to hear from a candidate), ...

...And what you might have seen as analytical skills simply came across to me as one who knew how to manipulate his audience and the media as an entertainer has to know to be successful. ..and further I wasn't convinced he really wanted the Presidency.

Yes, he was rude and crude...something I wasn't accustomed to in a political candidate and I truthfully still don't like for a Presidential candidate. He was way too raw for me. It was hard to hear what he was saying thru the foulness that was offensive...and turned many off to him.

It's for those very reasons, I had to go back in his history...years back in fact....and discover what he was 'consistent' in over the years... To push aside the fence he sometimes appeared to ride and weigh the results I came to.... This was an eyeopener as proved he pretty much did stay close to what he is saying today.

You have to admit he's come far since he first started when he didn't articulate his positions very well....now it's almost seamless.... Which is why I have said he has been a Politician in the making...and now A President....one of which we are all growing fond of....And I will add Trump has grown 'genuinely' fond of his supporters.

The bottom line is 'his positions' are very close to my own...I believe he believes in where he stands...and these are the standards I use to vote. ...and I also believe there are others who are drawing these same conclusions now and will vote for him....HE will be our next President.

You are right. All the MSM was reporting on Trump’s speech was that he delivered it to a white audience. That would have been the meme all day, and worse, if they’d continued. At least Trump derailed the MSM’s latest, ‘He’s a racist,’ pigpile.

That's a good point. The "but racist Trump spoke to an all-white audience" meme started with Don Lemon on CNN only a few minutes after Trump finished his speech. And naturally Lemon, Van Jones and the other libs on Lemon's always-liberal-majority panel shouted down the few conservatives who were (barely) allowed to speak.

Your nasty personal dig is false, and does you and whatever faith tradition you do or don’t practice no credit.

Well I needed to do that research, not only for myself, but when I throw my hat in with a candidate I need to know what and why he stands where he does. I have to be convinced he believes what he’s saying and not just saying it.

Yes, I like posting photos because I think they can often speak for themselves..and more often than not reveal the truth. (photo-shopping aside because once you do this often enough you get an eye for the real thing.)

One of the things I’ve noticed when grabbing photos of Melania is google and others are flooding the net with her nude photos you have to wade thru....they do this because it does leave a visual people don’t want to see in a first Lady. That’s the power of photos.

As we know Google and others are opposed to Trump so they’ll continue to smear her. Trump is wise to keep her in the background for that. Otherwise they’ll crucify her.

I have no problem with her photos because that was her profession and nudity in European countries is the norm. It’s only in the US they have to “dress” any model and they often do so before they’re published in the states.

Yes the Boston Bombing I think was my first go at it....then came the Egyptian Revolution which was both rewarding and exciting to disprove so much of the propaganda going on.

How far did you go back? I went as far back as his high school. He’s a very interesting character. He is still a diamond in the rough but the guy has guts, determination, street smarts and an intellect.

Why did Limbaugh use the snarky term “Trumpbart”

It has been pointed out many times here that Rush is GOPe, steal GOP like Cruz but still very much GOPe.

Don Lemon substitutes charges of racism for journalistic talent. Not unlike the way Obama substituted charges of racism for any kind of talent. (Some say Obama has been successful in all but destroying the US. That doesn’t require talent, however. It merely requires virulent hatred of America coupled with an enabling, supportive ‘opposition’ party and an embarrassingly fawning press.)

I have wondered if Rush is jealous of Trump because Trump out-Rushes Rush. As Rush says, “I point out the absurd by being absurd.” Well Trump is doing this on a much larger, more important, and more dangerous scale. The consequences are soooo much more important for Trump. Rush has become the little guy for the first time in his career, and it bothers him.

Yep...all the way back into his childhood...his parents and family....

Much of his personality is simply New Yorker style....he’s tough, rough because he’s dealt face to face with contractors and construction....they are a burly bunch. Not to mention the cut throat tactics of NY City when it comes to bids and jumping through political hoops.

Most interesting was it seems that everyone who has known him over the years says when he sits down to do business he’s focused and a very good listener as he wants all the facts possible before making decisions.

I think he’s the right man for the job we want to see done....I suspect he’s going to play the special interest groups, the lobbyists, and the likes of against one another to get the best deals for this country...but he’s not going to do it all....he’ll bend if he thinks in the long run the country will do better by doing so.

My concern is the high expectations everyone has that he’s going to wave some magic wand and all will be well.....that’s not going to happen....but he is a aster at using leverage...and important people keep this in mind ....what might seem one way is simply him using that advantage.

People have no patience nor understanding much of how things get done....so they are too quick to assume wrongfully. They have got to give him room to navigate and do what he knows to do for the final outcomes....and that includes the rest of this race.

Trump tried to make amends and play the game with the GOPe. He tried to extend his hand in friendship and they instead bit it off.

Trump is not stupid and will not be fooled twice. Now that the true enemies have completely identified themselves and shown they will not play nice, Trump is going to take the gloves off and do it his way.

And it is going to be gloriously fun to witness.
