“Why did Limbaugh use the snarky term “Trumpbart” when referring to Breitbart.”

Because, at heart, Rush is still a butthurt Cruzlim. It’s one of the primary reasons his stock has fallen with me.

I’m so glad you posted this link. Absolutely fascinating background information and history. This guy is an American character. He and Trump seem well suited.

Hmm...that sounds just like the way DU would describe a fiscally and socially conservative committed Christian.

Really? You do know Pence was booed at a Trump rally in NM over his support for Gov. Susana Martinez, who refuses to endorse Trump.

Pence said “Let me say Susana Martinez is a dear, dear friend of mine,”

Yes, I know the news source is Politico, but AFAIK, he said it.

As for him being a socially conservative committed Christian., it's not as much help as some think and IMO hurts him with younger voters.

I like Steve Banner but he’s going to have to upgrade his dress code if he’s going to work for Mr. Trump!

I always thought Trump should have created the “document” that he would support the RNC IF they would also sign the document that they would support him. There should have been about 20 lines for signatures. Not a good “deal” and he is good at deals. They would not have signed, so the issue would have become mute, but if they did sign, he’d have them by the short hairs now.

Yeah I heard that too. I actually think it was a genuine instance of miss-speak”. He was on a roll talking about Trump and just conflated the two. He didn’t use the Trumpbart word(s) again while I was listening. But I didn’t hear the entire program so I could obviously be wrong.

“First good move Trump’s made since he took in that loser Pence.”

I’m reminded of all the incredible energy Sarah Palin brought to the 2008 campaign. In comparison, Pence is dead silent. As far as I can see, he hasn’t brought any sort of dynamism to the ticket.

Maybe he’s really an ok guy. I just haven’t seen him make a ripple yet.

Things started going down hill when Manafort came on, Trump was doing quiet well before hand. Of course all of the Rino’s applauded the move, we should have known better.

RushRINO has long been GOP-Establishment hence his support of Lyin’ Ted and “Full-Throated” Rubio.

He’s just taken off the mask for all to see his hatred of Trump.

Nothing you said touches on the point I made. Pence is a committed Christian who holds deeply embraced socially conservative views and who governed Indiana in a fiscally conservative way. At DU, that would make him a “loser,”.

That’s not happening with Cruz, Kasich, Bush, and Rubio.
***************************

That’s because they work for the Cheap Labor Express.
There is no way they are going to allow the citizens to reverse 30 years of bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of laws and borders.

If Hillary’s polling gets bad enough look for the Yeb! and W. to endorse her.

I don’t see what he did as a “shakeup.” Everyone has been asking for a long time about where his ground team is. He just announced he is opening offices in 50 states, most with multiple offices. Now he has the leader to run that. This is not a shakeup, it is an expansion.

he hasn’t brought any sort of dynamism to the ticket.

I don't think he's capable of it. Conventional wisdom says pick a VP who won't hurt you, but Trump has gotten where he is without conventional wisdom. So IMHO, he needed a VP who could help him and Pence isn't that guy.

Anyway, it's too late now.

(ps Ann Coulter shares the same opinion of Pence I have and called his choice "the 1st mistake Trump has made")

Bannon is brilliant and understands the puny Democrats. Bannon said this about Obama going to Japan.

“Why don’t they take that presidential plane and fly into Pearl Harbor and have the President of Japan... apologize to the dead that are still at the USS Arizona today?... That is what this entire Democratic apparatus represents: you have not a shred of honor.”

Bannon is saying how Democrats would rather go to Japan and apologize for WWII rather than have the Japanese president come to Hawaii and apologize.
