This is good. He’s assembling a team and taking action. He’s stepping into the duties of the office. (Clinton meanwhile is holding poorly attended voter registration events, rallies in high school gyms and a few larger venues now and then - and sleeping)
The only point I’d urge caution on is “working with moderate Muslims to foster reforms”. This sounds like the “Countering Violent Extremism” program currently in place, a program which has eliminated words like “jihad” and “sharia” from official documents because they are “disrespectful” of moslems. This was done at the urging of the Muslim Brotherhood and is part of their campaign to outlaw “islamophobia”.
IMHO, the inclusion of “moderate muslims” is more in the line of mentioning Pres. Sisi of Egypt, encouraging actual reformers (of which there may be a very few). I look at that statement as a toss out to placate people who really don’t have a clue about REAL Islam, the real ideology, and real nonstop jihad/conquest/butchery history.
