The Left does that a lot. To a Leftist, you can't disagree because you have a different viewpoint, or different priorities. To the Leftist, people who disagree are either "ignorant" (their term for people who have been inadequately indoctrinated) or you are Evil. There are no other possibilities to them.
If they have decided that your disagreement is because you are Evil, then they assume that there must be other Evil activities that you are guilty of (but REAL child-molesters, like Polanski, are given a pass, because the Left likes them).
A Leftist can never allow himself to think, even for a second, that any difference of opinion which rejects the Left's narrative, can be in any way legitimate.
