Christie as Sec State?? No foreign policy bonafides. Might be better targeted as Homeland Security Sec - would justify his presence...

I hope not. DHS serves two purposes only: to give the illusion of security (but not really) and to be a pork distribution project. Well, three purposes because the USCG does real and honorable work, and Customs and Border Patrol would too if the hacks in charge of DHS would allow it. Other than that they are as useless as a screen door on a submarine. Put some hack in to administer the grants and let Christie do something useful.

DHS and Hillary deserve each other, not that I want Hillary anywhere near the government.

It is a wonder how a first rate outfit like the CG got stuck in DHS.
