How many times does someone have to register to vote? It appears that DemocRATS are registering the same schmucks every day.

When will people be automatically enrolled to vote when they register their gun?

Seriously though, there is a common sense compromise available in my opinion.

If people automatically become registered when they get a driver's license, then a companion voter ID law should be valid requiring the display of said ID that triggered registration. Additionally I would recommend language that states surrendering the privilege of a driving license should trigger a voter registration purge. The person could reapply for vote registration using another valid voter form of ID.

Win / win. But we all know to the left it isn't really about the convenience of voter registration that concerns them so.

All this would do is create a much larger pool of registered people to impersonate and thereby steal their votes. The likelihood is that many if not most of those registered automatically would never even realize that someone else had voted “for” them, because if you’re not motivated enough to register the normal way you’re probably pretty unlikely to vote.

Take a ticket and get to the back of the line. Our children aren’t getting quality educations either and they were here before you. I despise line breakers.

I suppose the question is “ does NJ issues DLs to anyone regardless of citizen/alien status? If yes, then I agree with the Gov.

Here in MO, citizens or legal aliens can obtain a DL, and we have to present citizenship documentation the first time around. Of course, legal aliens can obtain DLs too, but they must also present their credentials.

I renewed my DL the other day, the clerk asked me if I was registered to vote, I said yes. I asked if she asked only US citizens that question and she answered “yes, the screen showed me that you were born in NY and presented a BC in 2003 when you obtained you original MO DL. Unless the screen shows US citizenship, we don’t ask.”
