Way back when I was a senior in high school sixty years ago our “Civics” (do they still teach such stuff?) teacher was a young lib (later JFK’s campaign manager in Delaware County, Pa.) who had us all subscribe to the “Times” during the year, I suppose because it was considered such a great window on the world. As dumb and clueless as I was at the time, I still sensed there was something offensive about the rag. At one point he asked us to do analytic reports on articles we got to select from the paper and I vaguely recall that I chose one that was something about unions, which I “analyzed” as being undemocratic and no more than legalized extortion against employers all over the country - he didn’t approve at all as I remember - almost cost me an “A” for the reporting period, but I did okay on his exams and pulled the grade out - I hate the NYSlimes too.....
Oh, I think they completely get it. The problem is that Hillary is a horrible candidate, who has no qualifications and whose presidency will be utter disaster, if her experience in the State Department is any clue. So they have to go all out to smear Trump. Because if they do not manage to make him look worse than Hillary, he gets elected and the socialist dictatorship they sense right around the corner gets pushed back for years, if not decades. They cannot stand by quietly while Trump threatens to save America from destruction.

How can they really like “cheap” labor when it means less “tax revenue” collected (especially when they start collecting welfare) and the Slimes continues to push for $15 minimum wage? Ah, the doublethink of the NYSlimes.

I have been reluctant to verbalize it, but for a couple of months now I have had this overwhelming feeling that a political Black Swan is in our future.
And THEN all hell will break loose...
Should Trump lose I can understand the fears of these Democrats because the mirage of how great their party is is coming to an end. Trump has said just what our nation’s threats are and the fact the Democrats are committing treason with open borders and Islamic invasion. He has not been intimidated to confront failed Democrat policies that destroy cities they control and just everything he is blunt, plainspoken about. They know this election and Trump’s warnings will stay in people’s memories should the Democrats prevail and they will find it hard to continue propaganda that everything is alright. The next 4 yrs are going to be blowing up with many problems.
Is everyone at the NYT on acid? How will we ever recover from Obama?
