Some women should never be given control of the checkbook. They tend to overspend on unnecessary items - a fool for a sale. Even if a sale saving $.02: the palms itch and the eyes light up.

The First Principle of Madison Avenue is that no amount of advertising can sell a bad product.
The only reason people remember the Edsel today is because the ad campaign was so huge and effective. People flocked to the dealerships and found out for themselves how bad the product was.

If Trump wins, watch for a MASSIVE DoJ/IRS probe into Clinton Foundation's finances. And Trump will ask authorities in Switzerland to see if Clinton Foundation "contributions" were funneled through Swiss banks in possible violation of international laws dealing with racketeering across international borders. Trump may even ask for a legal case against George Soros, possibly finding out if he helped create a slush fund to pay off mainstream media (MSM) outlets for favorable treatment of the political Left. And that right there could bring down multiple MSM companies--New York Times, Tribune Company, Washington Post (Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos could be in big trouble here!), Comcast (the parent of NBC/MSNBC), Disney (the parent of ABC/ESPN), and so on.

I had a prof in b-school that worked for Polaroid when Polarvision came out. As far as consumers went, it was completely outclassed by VCR and Beta technologies.
However, he said his parents loved it, the only other people besides Edwin Land, apparently. Well, not quite. Some artists worked with the technology.
I saw a news report on it at the time, and iirc, besides the fairly low ASA, special player for what basically was Super8, the cartridge held just over two minutes of film.

I agree. If Trump wins, then if I were Robert Iger, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Larry Page, Sergei Brin, and Jack Dorsey, I'd be REAL nervous because they'll be asked a lot of questions by a Trump-dominated DoJ on whether they had received slush fund payments to ensure favorable treatment of the political Left in the media company and tech company space.

The media was able to influence and pick the GOPe nominee in 2008 and 2012, and the voters are fed up with their manipulation of our elections. Trump is strongly anti media. The media hates him and the freedom for America he represents.
The voters know Hillary is venom and Trump is the antidote.
So the prop up of Hillary by the media actually helps Trump.
Trump has branded Hillary as Crooked and Liar.

They seem to be pleading with me to turn it off.Well yeah, that's how they get paid. What I do is browse in a sandbox, so all the ads load and everybody gets paid. Then when I'm finished browsing I just delete everything. POOF! All gone. History, cookies, malware, everything all gone. That seems to be the fairest thing to do, imo.

No one from the media could explain how the money was spent....but there was nothing to show for all those people she hired to hype her up in Iowa. It's the same tale wherever HRC and OPM meet. Is it possible for HRC to control $200+ million of OPM and resist the urge to loot it?
It's a serious question.

Hint to Hillary: When you use ads that show Trump saying that he wants to “bomb the sh!t out of ISIS”, that helps Trump, NOT you!!
Most Americans WANT a President who will bomb the sh!t out of ISIS, and won’t vote for a candidate who sees something wrong with that!!!!

Perhaps there might be too much faith, but nonetheless I’ve faith if Mr. Trump is elected he will manage to begin actions to see this happens. He understands (it seems) the reason our nation is what is is. This was never the nation our FF sought, only a monster created by certain parties. There is no fraction of our society which has not been corrupted. If an engine were so compromised, it would never be given clearance to lift off the ground.

The Obama administration has *WEAPONIZED* the departments of the Federal government against conservatives.
I think we need to weaponize the Department of Justice against Liberals so as to make them clearly understand why it's a good idea to keep governmental power under check.
Perhaps if they are placed into terror at the prospect of a partisan government screaming for their hide, then they will come to appreciate why we should not do this.
Same thing with the IRS. Everyone who supports socialism needs to have their Taxes audited. They need to have that capitalist earned money pried out of their fingers, and perhaps then they will learn not to support things they really don't want applied to them.
