+1 on that, I don't know why she is popular other than to liberals who love her tired cliche talking points.. shes the female Jon Stewart without any funny at all

Most women stand-ups aren't particularly funny. (Heck, most male comedians leave a lot to be desired, too.)

Sure, they occasionally will have a decent joke, or even bit, but being coarse and/or angry does not an entertainer make.

Twenty-five years ago, I read an article that said the market for stand-ups in the US was around 200. Lots of competition for those 200 now plus, spots.

I tried watching Schumer. She doesn't do it for me, but I guess she's doing something (or somebody) right at CBS/Comedy Central.
