Don’t kid yourself. It’s a profession almost exclusively in the realm of narcissists if not outright exhibitionists, where being eye candy is one of the best ways of getting ahead. After one achieves success, or especially as one grows older-looking, there is inclination to express regret and bitterness.
You just explained all of Hollywood. The press is just an extension. You look at all of these “stars”, they’re either related to the “man” in charge or slept their way to the top! Do you think Andrea would have got the job if she resembled Webb Hubbell’s daughter?

Like that serious news commentary show “Outnumbered” where their male guest is in the midst of four very attractive women sitting with their skirts riding WAY up (absolutely nothing wrong with that!). Andrea was a regular and has great legs.
Always thought, though, that the show should be called “Boxed In”.

She's 37. While still eye candy, she must be increasingly contemplating her market value declining in that respect.
